Our vanilla comes from plantations in Veracruz, Puebla and other regions in Mexico where indigenous people have collected, grown and used this precious plant since pre-Hispanic times. Mainly indigenous women pollinate vanilla flowers manually to allow the formation of the delicate fruits. After nine months, the fruits are carefully harvested and classified before submitting them to the curing process, where the highest quality standards are adopted to ensure flexible, oily, fragrant and dark beans.

It is an amber liquid that results from the maceration of vanilla beans in a solution of alcohol and water.

It is a classic and reliable baking ingredient. It is also very easy to use, which has earned it a special place in the homes of many dessert fans.

It is a double-fold (2x) pure vanilla extract obtained by dissolving 200 g of cured vanilla beans in one liter of a solution of alcohol and water.

The market is filled with products that call themselves pure vanilla extract but may contain harmful ingredients such as coumarin. Therefore, when purchasing pure vanilla extract it is important to check that its only ingredients are vanilla, water and at least 35% alcohol. It may also contain sugar. Pure vanilla extract should be added when the cooking process is almost finished to avoid evaporation and chemical transformation.

They are oily, dark brown to almost black capsules with an intense, sweet and characteristic scent.
